Poetry by Spirit Wolf (Carol)
A poem written while traveling to a sundance in Montana
Wide horizon of the mind
Encompass the space that we share on this earth.
Spirit powers walk this place of wind swept hills
Where clumps of colored tones, lime and deep greens
Pattern the landscape of a gathering place.
Here we meet to offer some part of ourselves
Which is all that we have to give.
A poem written on the way to Wounded Knee
We send love
In a circle
Which starts
And begins again
In a roundness
Of spirit chanting
A joining of spirit
From chest to breast
In the dawning
Of a sunrise
To earth from sky
Where we find reunion.
