Our beloved Mr. Watson (aka Watty) passed over on January 16, 2012, Martin Luther King Day. Watty was 16 1/2 years old. It's very hard to say goodbye to such a dear friend.

We miss Watty dearly. But he is now free to romp and play ball and chase squirrels through the cosmos. The world changed a lot during his lifetime, but his love was steadfast and helped us through many challenging times. He was truly an angel with fur and a tail that never stopped wagging.

We've put together a slide show in remembrance of his life with us. The pictures are in chronological order spanning a period from 1997 through 2011. During his life he traveled most all the states from Ohio to the Canadian Maritimes, camping, enjoying nature, and visiting family and friends. Most of the pictures were taken by Fred. Watty was one of his very favorite subjects, as you can tell when you see the pictures. A few of the pictures were taken by Carol and by Watty's friend Linda. Click here for the show.

PS: We also have a couple of short movies of Watty from December 30, 2011. He was nearly deaf and his sight was very, very limited. But as you can see, he still could enjoy life and run around like a puppy—a real inspiration. The white flecks on his fur are snow flakes.
